The Tube

There was a Firefly marathon all day today that just ended. I only watched a few episodes, but gorram, this really is my favorite show of all time.

Right now I've got Dogma on. 'Cuz, y'know, Alan Rickman is totally swoon-worthy as The Metatron.

We've loved the show ourselves. I'm not a fan of Heart of Gold, simply because it plays out as very cliched to my thinking-- but that still makes a win/fail ratio better than any science fiction on television I can think of.

Glad to know you've enjoyed it too!

I still like Dr. Lazarus/Alexander Dane a little better, though... ;-)

That's Sir Alexander Dane to you, young man! ;)

Tivo had recorded just one of the Firefly marathon episodes -- the first half of Serenity. I've seen the episode many times, but that didn't stop me from enjoying it again. It's a very rich episode, deftly showing us so much about each character. I still find moments of enlightenment where on previous viewings I hadn't really understood why characters had done or said something.

Alan Rickman is pretty much always swoon worthy for me, although Snape should wash his hair more...
