Highly Amusing
Jun. 23rd, 2004 11:14 amI have recently acquired the habit of watching a DVD on the laptop while I am painting figs. Last night I watched Catch Me If You Can, with Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, and Christopher Walken.
I won't spoil anything for you in case any of you would like to watch it some day, but I just had to mention my favorite aspect of this movie.
In the film, Walken plays Leonardo DiCaprio's father, which works fairly well, but not absolutely perfectly. However, it was a blast listening to DiCaprio “do” Walken. As his son, DiCaprio had to mimic some of Walken's vocal mannerisms, and several times he really pulled it off. Walken is a great personality to mimic (witness several great SNL sketches), and it was pretty amusing to watch.
