My Credo

On an email list a friend of mine said that the Democrats need "something to believe in" in order to convince the populace that they are worthy of office.  Most of the world would call me a Democrat (or at the very least, a liberal), but I don't think my beliefs are too far off from those of any sane individual.

• I believe in a government that protects individual rights, regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, or financial status.


• I believe in a government that protects the environment.


• I believe in a government that protects my country's interests.


• I believe in a government that makes decisions based on sound data.


• I believe in a government that serves the populace rather than increasing its own party's power.


• I believe in a government that lives in peace with our neighbors when possible.

Call me crazy...
