Is this ironic?

On my way to work there is a stop light just after a train track.  When the light is red only one car can fit between the light and the track, and the rest of the cars (should) stop farther back so as to be off of the track.  This is not an unused track; occasionally we have to wait for the train to go by before we can go through the light.

This morning there was an EMS truck waiting for the light while sitting on the tracks.


Can I get a call?  Ironic, or just moronic?
