I recently re-read this article by Maureen Dowd.
Now, I'm no fan of Maureen Dowd, but this article has me thinking about a few topics.
1 - Clearly I was never really a part of the "dating" crowd. No one ever taught me about going after a man. I don't recall ever talking to my mother about romantic issues, although I did ask my Dad about a few things, none of which were really about dating. I wonder now what my life would have been like if I had been more of a "girly" girl.
2 - Wouldn't it be nice to be a "kept" woman and never have to go to work. Assuming I still didn't want to have kids, what would I do with my time?
3 - Is my life really so different from the norm? Is Sex and the City what women are really like? How come I don't know any of these women? ;)
4 - I really really like Angelo. :)
