Catching Up

I know I've been out of touch recently (which is amusing, considering how much I blogged when I was in China), and I apologize.  Yes, I'm still alive, and I still have a lot to say.  Eventually I would like to comment upon:

• The training class that I took the last week of April was one of the coolest experiences of my career.


• Stephen Colbert is a freaking GOD


• Ang helped me find an outfit for Gail's wedding, but I still need to buy shoes


• Waiting for KRH to produce offspring


• Continued concern regarding the impossible relationship between Israel and Hamas


• Zuma, who has been acquitted of the rape charge, says that he "took a shower" to prevent HIV infection from the woman with whom he had sex


• Moussaoui is now saying that he lied about his involvement about 9/11

For now, the house is clean, I'm getting more sleep, and I have a LOT of work to do in the office.

Lager Gig

Lager Rhythms will be doing a "mini-gig" on Tuesday, May 23rd, at Mojo Risin', 1600 Shepherd, a couple of blocks south of I-10.  Mojo Risin' is a BYOB coffee house.  They have a small menu, including a pretty good dessert menu.  Parking is around the back.

We'll be doing the first half of the evening (about an hour or so), and another Duck regular will be doing the latter half of the evening.  I believe the cover will be $5.
