Nov. 30th, 2006

Today we have a cold front coming through.  It was 70F when I left the house, and this afternoon it should be in the low 50s or high 40s.  Major change.

I actually drove through the front on my way to work.  It was wild.  I saw a huge bank of dark clouds right in front of me, very low to the ground.  I actually thought there may have been a house fire across the street because the clouds were so thick and dark and roiling.  As soon as I reached the cloud bank the temperature outside the car dropped about 15F (I had the window open).  A few seconds went by and then the wind began to whip up, and the temperature kept dropping as I drove.

My windows here at work are all fogged on the inside.  This means I can't see my tree very well, but I bet the wind knocked off many of the pretty leaves.  Oh, well.  It was nice to have fall for a day.  :)

EDIT:  It's 35F now...
