Where the Beautiful People Play

I've been in Los Angeles for the past few days at a technical conference. It's been a really good conference, and I feel like I've gotten a lot out of it, but I have to say, LA... not so beautiful.

Plus, my hotel doesn't have internet access. Can you believe it?! What year is this again? I've been all over Asia with no problem, but here, in the heart of LA, I'm cut off from the world. Grump. (yes, I know they say they have it...they don't)

Oh, and it cost more to park my car than to actually rent it, so I took it back.
