Spoilers?

drangelo and I were watching the first Potter movie yesterday, and, as usual, there was commentary.


Setup:
The great hall is decorated in Slytherin colors of black and green, as Slytherin has clearly won the house cup this year. The Slytherins are whooping it up, and we focus on Malfoy's grinning visage several times, happy to have finally stuck it to Harry for the year.

Dumbledore tallies the house points as follows:

Gryffindor: 312
Hufflepuff: 352
Ravenclaw: 426
Slytherin: 472

House Slytherin is the winner!

Dumbledore, however, at the last minute, attributes another 170 points to Gryffindor, surprisingly just enough points to put the Gryffindors on top for the year. The banners miraculously change colors to Gryffindor red and gold, and the camera focusses on Draco's glowering face.
