I really have been trying to show pictures of the figs that I have been painting, but for some reason I am having problems uploading the pictures without serious problems, both in the file transfer and the setting of permissions.  For now, I will link to a couple of photos that did upload correctly, while I am still working on the post where all the photos will be available.

Here is Kaya, the paladin (front view  rear view).  I have been working much harder on getting her ready for the next game.

Meriel, my cleric, is only available from the front at this time.  Clearly she has been running behind her sister.

Gorgeous!

I need to start making cool things like that so I have an impressive excuse when I've gotten nothing else accomplished all day. 'I read a book' causes no awe.

But first I'd need to learn patience and get far better hand-eye coordination.

I give a lot of the credit to Werner Klocke, who sculpted these figs. He is quickly becoming my favorite sculptor.

Kaya and Meriel are twins, so I tried to find figs that had similar facial features. The face painting method belongs to Jen Haley, who paints professionally.

The hand-eye coordination is coming along slowly.
