I want adjusted dollar figures for all this based on year of release.

Wow, you're a demanding little vixen, aren't you?

I have no idea how to comply. :(

Oh, not from you. I just would be really interested in seeing what the top-dollar movies (under whatever IMDB conditions are) adjusted for inflation. A lot of these movies are recent, and I'd love to see how the adjusted dollar figures compare.

In particular, I wonder where Gone With the Wind would be on this list. Hard to compare grosses for a time when tickets average close to $10 vs a time when a first run movie cost about $0.10.

Hey, for several years, UPAC was one of my best movie viewing sources! Especially since I worked it and was friends with all the projectionists... I don't think I paid to see many movies there between oh 1990 and 1998!

Man, I miss that friendly hanging around in the projection booth life. *sighs, wistful for childhood*

I feel the same way about hanging out at Players, or WRPI. In fact, I met my hubby, [livejournal.com profile] drangelo, at the Playhouse. *sigh* I miss RPI so much.

I keep in touch with a lot of RPI folks, which is good... I met my husband at Genericon, before I went to RPI, and then again at gaming, and I kept him. *grins*

In my (vast) experience, gamers make the best husbands. :)

Oh, I'm in complete agreement!! Never would have made it this far with someone who didn't "get" the hobby. Besides, we're never lacking for gifts... board games abound!! *giggles*
