Yes, folks, today is the day that we celebrate John Adams' 1777 proclamation, “Resolved that the flag of the thirteen United States shall be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white on a blue field, representing a new constellation.

Also, today is the birthday of Burl Ives, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Dr. Alois Alzheimer, Don Newcombe, Boy George, and Donald Trump.



Oh, and me, I'm 39 today.  :)
