Finally

I've started painting again.

I just finished an old style Ankheg.  At least I think it's an Ankheg; I'm sure drangelo will let me know if I'm wrong.  I had started it a long time ago, right before my painting muse fled.

Recently I've been wanting to paint, but I've been afraid to start anything for fear of screwing it up.  Luckily, I have a few unfinished pieces, once of which was this really crappy Ankheg fig.  I spent a few nights working on it, and finally based it last night.  It's not great, but it's not too bad.  and now I'm ready to tackle the other unfinished pieces, which happen to be really nice figs.

Looks like I'm back!


EDIT:  This is an Ankheg.  This is an Umber Hulk, which is what I actually painted.

Obviously he is Drangelo the dreaded half-dragon tangelo (in total, one-half dragon, one-quarter tangerine, and one-quarter pomelo.) His breath weapon is the grapefruit juice that squirts in your eye
